"Me and my Appenzell belt" - Seraina Manser, community manager at Tsüri.ch

"Seraina, why are you wearing an Appenzell belt?"

I find the design and make incredibly beautiful: I wear my Chüeli belt as an accessory and not because of its function as a belt. It reminds me of my hikes in the Alpstein, where I encounter Appenzell mountain dogs wearing the "belt" as a collar. Or alpine dairymen in Edelweiss shirts who have the same belt. I like the fact that this product, made according to traditional craftsmanship, is worn more and more by women and in cities in recent years. It suits me well, precisely because it has the same origin as my last name.

It fits me well, especially because it has the same origin as my last name.

"What is the story behind your belts, how did you get there?"

A few years ago a friend showed up with the Chüeli belt in red leather. It looked great and I bought one on it too. However, in black. So I came via typical Influencen in the circle of friends to my belt.

"Do you get asked about your belt a lot?"

Quite a few of my friend:in own such a belt. From people in other bubbles I have also received compliments and not infrequently I then tell them about the origin of the product and the place of origin, which is also my place of citizenship.

"Anything you want to add?"

A friend of mine is left-handed and because he threads his belts with his left hand, the cows and dogs are always upside down. He recently started wearing the "Födleblott" model without decorations. It's a bit of a shame, because nobody stands on their head anymore.
