Western meets Appenzellerland
The bolo tie: the cowboy accessory that became popular in the 1950s is currently celebrating a comeback and is becoming more and more of an it-piece in the fashion world - but this time it's not just for men, as it perfectly complements every style of clothing for all genders.
The collaboration between Appenzeller Gurt and ByDominique is the result of true craftsmanship. Dominique Rinderknecht, a long-time fan and wearer of our straps, took one of our ornaments and after a lot of tinkering and many hours in the workshop, this completely handmade piece of jewelry was created. The centerpiece and the ends are made of sterling silver, the ornament is made of brass and the leather strap is of the same origin as our straps - regional from the Bündnerland or southern Germany, vegetable tanned in pit tanning.

The bolo tie is an accessory that will spice up any outfit. And what we love: it bridges the gap between traditional and modern - an old piece of jewelry reinterpreted!
About ByDominique
ByDominique is the heart project of Dominique Rinderknecht, former Miss Switzerland, now designer and entrepreneur. She makes her gold and silver jewelry by hand in a workshop in Cape Town (South Africa), her second home. No mass-produced goods, but pure passion and genuine craftsmanship.

Care
Make sure that your bolo tie does not come into contact with body lotion or perfume. To clean it, use a soft piece of clothing or a soft cloth and lukewarm water and a little soap if necessary.
The light brown leather is untreated, i.e. it may darken over time.
