Leather with a promising future
We use 100 percent sustainable, regional leather. Only the hides of animals that have spent a good life on a regenerative, organic or biodynamic farm in Germany or Switzerland are used to produce this leather.
The tanning is chrome-free and plant-based and is carried out by a traditional company in southern Germany. We can therefore trace where and how the cow lived and how the tanning took place.
The new collars are softer & more supple and get more patina due to their more natural surface texture.

A handmade piece of Switzerland
All collars are produced in Appenzell, Switzerland by Daniel Fuchs. Daniel Fuchs is the third generation of his family to produce collars for dogs, and every single piece is made by hand. For more impressions see "making of".
Measure correctly
The length of the dog collar is calculated from the dog's neck circumference plus 6 or 8 cm extra, depending on the length:
Narrow collar: 34 cm, 37 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm + 6 cm surcharge / 50, 55 cm + 8 cm surcharge:
Neck circumference: 25 - 29 cm = collar length 34 cm
Neck circumference: 30 - 32 cm = collar length 37 cm
Neck circumference: 33 - 36 cm = collar length 40 cm
Neck circumference: 37 - 41 cm = collar length 45 cm
Neck circumference: 42 - 44 cm = collar length 50 cm
Neck circumference: 45 - 49 cm = collar length 55 cm
