Black, dark brown, cognac, light brown & red (new!) are made of 100% sustainable cowhide, raw material from mother cow farms in Surselva (CH) and Southern Germany, vegetable & chrome free tanned in pit tannery (Southern Germany).

Since the beginning of the year, the colours black, dark brown, cognac and light brown are our dog collars made of traceable leather: We know where the cow comes from (Demeter or organic farm in Southern Germany), where and how the cow is slaughtered (Fairfleisch in Southern Germany) and where and how the raw hides are tanned (4th generation tannery in Southern Germany, vegetable and without chrome).
The new collars are softer & more supple and get more patina due to their more natural surface structure. Especially the light brown leather (undyed) can react with water and quickly become darker.
