Our collab with ACC. HELVETICA combines the centuries-old savoir-faire of the Appenzeller Sennensattler with the aesthetics of the 80s & 90s. The collection includes handbags, glasses, earrings and a belt.

Like Appenzeller Gurt, ACC. HELVETICA is committed to preserving traditions in this time of rapid change and technical revolution. With the joint collection, we want to reinterpret the forms, techniques and savoir-faire of Appenzeller Sennentums and thus translate familiar ways of making and customs into the present.
ACC. HELVETICA was founded by Angela Thurnherr, accessories designer, and Oriana Tundo, stylist in Zurich. Their shared interest in art, design and music laid the foundation for the accessory brand, which focuses on collabs with actors from different fields.
As the two creatives behind ACC. HELVETICA draw their inspiration from art, design and music, it quickly became clear that the looks of the 80s and 90s would influence this collaboration. All the accessories developed combine the ornaments of the Appenzell belt with the aesthetics of the end of the last century. With the range of handbags, jewellery, sunglasses and a belt, the aim is to preserve the craft of Alpine dairy culture and translate it into timeless and modern design.
From the Tote to the Mini Bag
The collection consists of four handbags: Two tote bags, a mini bag and a trapez bag. Made from our chrome-free and vegetable tanned leather (except white), which was processed by a traditional company in Southern Germany. All bags are decorated with the brass or nickel silver ornaments of the Appenzell belt and are available in black, dark blue, cognac and white.
Jewellery sunglasses
Two pairs of sunglasses, an ear clip and earrings complete the collection. The jewelry consists of silver-plated Appenzeller belt ornaments, made in Switzerland. The sunglasses are manufactured in a factory in northern Italy and meet the highest quality standards.
Never ending belt
The final piece of the collection is an extra-long Appenzell belt, equipped only with suns. The belt can be worn single or double and is available in white with brass or black with nickel silver ornaments. The black leather is also made from our "Traceable Leather" and were shod by Daniel Fuchs in Appenzell.
